Jennnifer Lopez Recording New Songs
Jennnifer Lopez has Jim Jonsin and Mike Caren in studio, recording new songs.
It was revealed that Jennifer Lopez has been lingering in studio with producer Jim Jonsin. Breaking the news to public were songwriting duo Aplus (Antea and Anesha), who are believed to be involved in the making of Jennifer's new record, on their Twitter pages.
Jennifer Lopez is readying to release her upcoming third compilation album titled "Greatest Hits" before the end of this year. Earlier in February, her brand new song "Hooked on You" was leaked and is speculated to be included in the effort.
In October 2008, a friend of Jennifer told In Touch Weekly that Jennifer has a studio project in the works. "J. Lo can't wait to make a huge comeback. She is working all the time and has so many projects coming up," the friend said.
Since stepping into music scene in 1999, Jennifer Lopez has released six major studio albums, one in Spanish and the others in English. She dropped her latest effort "Brave" in October 2007, which sold only 53,000 copies in its first week. As for compilation album, Jennifer has dropped two records; "On the 6/J-Lo" and "Jennifer Lopez".
Jim Jonsin has worked with the likes of Lil Wayne, Slim Thug, Soulja Boy and Mike Jones. Meanwhile, Mike Caren is an acclaimed producer who has helped Madonna, Beyonce Knowles, T.I. and Keyshia Cole making their hit singles.

Ben Affleck Complains Jennifer Lopez
Affleck and Lopez began dating in 2002 after starring in 'Gigli' together. According to reports, although the couple got engaged, they broke up shortly before their scheduled 2004 wedding.
Jennifer Lopez may want to plug her ears for his one. Years after they split up, Ben Affleck has come forward to talk about his relationship with J. Lo. And he doesn’t mask his feelings (or lack thereof) for her.
In a new interview, Ben says he probably shouldn’t have ever started dating her in the first place. He says, "I was no longer in control of my life. I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn't. I got lost. I felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I should never have gone down that route or got sucked in to all the publicity.”
"I was typecast as myself. Too many people weren't getting past what they read about me. That was damaging. I can tell from experience it's bad for you, and bad for your career. So I took a break, went away for a while and let things calm down."
That was probably the best thing Ben ever did! And now that he’s happily married to the adorable Jennifer Garner, we can hardly remember the J. Lo days! She suits him so much better! And Ben agrees.
He says, "Work has taken a back seat. My job is not as important as it was. Saying that having a family changed my life is a cliche. But it's true - it re-arranged my life and made me see clearly."
We’re sure Jen appreciates that Ben realizes what a great family he has! We love them as a couple, and their kids are too cute!

Jennifer Lopez's clothing line 'Sweetface' close?
Jennifer Lopez, one of the first celebrities to foray into fashion with her JLO by Jennifer Lopez line in 2001, is downsizing her clothing brand 'Sweetface'.
While Jennifer Lopez is staying busy filming her new movie, 'The Back-Up Plan,' and recording songs for her first album since 'Brave' was released in 2007, not everything in her empire is still going full steam ahead. We recently found out her Sweetface line has been temporarily nixed and will no longer be available in the States. The company said in a statement, 'In light of new company strategies, we have decided to put the Sweetface line on hiatus while we prepare to reintroduce the brand in the near future with new messaging points and an entirely new fashion point of view.'
Lopez’s venture into the fashion business has had its ups and downs over the years. After six years on the market, the singer-actress closed JLO in the US in 2007, although the line continues to be sold in 40 countries around the world.
Undaunted, the Bronx native also launched justsweet, a sexy and sparkly mix of pants, jumpsuits and dresses to fill the gap between her casual JLO line and the high-fashion Sweetface, in Septmber 2007, but this too was discontinued after only a few seasons.
Lopez turned her 2003 endeavor, Sweetface, into a high-end line, found at retailers such as Intermix, and the brand made $200 million in 2006, according to New York magazine.
But it’s tough times for style-savvy celebrities: Sweetface follows in the fading footsteps of Lauren Conrad’s signature clothing line and Mandy Moore’s shuttered
